HETAC Resources
The California Homeless Education Technical Assistance Center (HETAC) provides a variety of resources related to supporting educational access and success for California’s children and youth experiencing homelessness.
- Tip sheets: HETAC tip sheets offer concise, accessible guidance on key topics in homeless education. Each tip sheet provides an overview of relevant federal and California statutory provisions and recommends best practices and curated resources to support effective implementation in schools, local educational agencies (LEAs), and communities.
- Toolkits and other resources: HETAC toolkits provide a comprehensive suite of resources related to key topics in homeless education, providing more in-depth information as well as practical and often customizable implementation resources and templates.
- Archived webinars: HETAC archived webinars explore key topics in homeless education. Each archived webinar entry links to the webinar recording and handouts.
- E-newsletters: HETAC e-newsletters provide current information about evergreen and emerging homeless education topics. They also spotlight new or existing resources from the HETAC, California Department of Education, and other stakeholders.
