LEA Liaison Contact Information
The federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (McKinney-Vento Act) requires all local educational agencies (LEAs) to designate a homeless education liaison to serve as the LEA’s key homeless education contact and oversee the implementation of the Act in schools throughout the LEA.

COE Liaison Contact Information
In California, there are 58 county offices of education that provide services to the state’s school districts. Each COE has a designated homeless education liaison to serve as the COE’s key homeless education contact and support the implementation of the McKinney-Vento Act in LEAs throughout the county.
